Biography and any plot points: Fabian will insist that he is the ‘good’ twin out of the pair of them. Any trickery or devil-may-care attitude obviously comes from Gideon pretending to be him.

He’s a liar, though. Fabian loves a good trick. He doesn’t take considerable time out of his day to go around playing pranks, but if the opportunity presents itself for him to confuse someone, he’s going to take it. Fabian has pretended to be Gideon so many times now that it’s amazing he still knows which twin he is.

Though Fabian is a joker, he does tend to take things seriously if they're important enough. He's all too aware of how bad things are getting out in the wizarding world. As this is his last year of school, he's seriously considering what his options are for after graduation. At the moment, the only path he can see to take involves stopping the ones responsible for striking fear into the wizarding world's heart. With you-know-who and his Death Eaters about, Fabian can't see a way to continue living his life how he likes.
